Battle Born Tactical wants customers to be satisfied with their purchases. Because firearms and related products are regulated goods, return and cancellation policies vary depending on the type of product and the status of the transaction.
Please review the following policy before placing an order.
Firearm Sales
All firearm sales are final once the firearm has been transferred to the customer by the receiving Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL).
Customers are responsible for carefully inspecting the firearm at their receiving FFL before completing the transfer.
If a firearm arrives damaged, is not the firearm ordered, or has an obvious issue upon inspection, do not complete the transfer. Contact Battle Born Tactical before accepting the firearm so we can work with the distributor, carrier, or other applicable party to determine the appropriate resolution.
Once the receiving FFL completes the transfer and the customer takes possession, the firearm is considered accepted and generally cannot be returned to Battle Born Tactical.
Manufacturer Defects
New firearms are covered by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, if any.
If a firearm is found to have a manufacturing or mechanical defect after the transfer has been completed, the customer should contact the manufacturer for warranty service.
Battle Born Tactical will make reasonable efforts to assist customers with manufacturer contact or warranty information when possible, but manufacturer warranty decisions and repairs are controlled by the manufacturer.
Background Check Denials and Failed Transfers
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they are legally eligible to purchase and possess the firearm ordered.
If a firearm cannot be transferred because the customer is denied, is legally ineligible, fails to satisfy applicable transfer requirements, or otherwise cannot lawfully take possession, the firearm may need to be returned, resold, or otherwise handled through the receiving FFL and/or Battle Born Tactical.
Any refund available in such circumstances may be reduced by costs incurred as a result of the failed transfer, including shipping, return shipping, distributor charges, restocking fees, or other non-refundable transaction costs.
FFL transfer fees, background-check fees, or other fees charged by the receiving dealer are separate from Battle Born Tactical and are generally not refundable by Battle Born Tactical.
Order Cancellations
Contact Battle Born Tactical as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order.
An order that has not yet been submitted for fulfillment or shipped may be eligible for cancellation and refund.
Once an order has been submitted to a distributor, entered into fulfillment, or shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible. If cancellation is still available, the customer may be responsible for non-refundable costs incurred by Battle Born Tactical, including distributor cancellation fees, shipping charges, return shipping, or restocking fees.
Special Orders
Special-order items are products specifically sourced or ordered at a customer’s request.
Once a special order has been approved and submitted to a distributor or supplier, it may not be cancelable or returnable unless Battle Born Tactical or the supplier agrees otherwise.
Any special-order cancellation or return that is accepted may be subject to distributor or supplier cancellation charges, restocking fees, shipping costs, or other non-refundable expenses.
Customers will be informed of any material special-order terms known to Battle Born Tactical when the order is arranged.
Accessories and Non-Firearm Products
Unused, unopened, and uninstalled non-firearm products may generally be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions and exclusions below.
Returned products must be in new, resalable condition and include the original packaging, manuals, accessories, and other materials supplied with the product.
Products that have been installed, mounted, fired, used, altered, damaged, or are missing original components or packaging may not be eligible for return.
Before returning any product, please contact Battle Born Tactical for return instructions. Do not send a return without prior authorization.
Unless the return is due to an error by Battle Born Tactical or a verified defective/damaged product for which Battle Born Tactical accepts responsibility, original shipping charges and return shipping costs are generally non-refundable.
Ammunition
Ammunition sales are final and ammunition is not returnable, except when Battle Born Tactical determines that an incorrect product was shipped or another return is required by applicable law.
If ammunition arrives damaged or appears unsafe, do not use it. Contact Battle Born Tactical for assistance.
Optics, Electronics, and Similar Products
Unused and unopened optics, weapon lights, electronic sights, rangefinders, night-vision products, thermal products, and similar items may be eligible for return under our non-firearm return policy.
Once such a product has been installed, mounted, used, or activated, manufacturer warranty procedures may apply instead of a return to Battle Born Tactical.
Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Products
Please inspect orders promptly after delivery.
If a non-firearm product arrives damaged, an incorrect item is received, or something is missing from the shipment, contact Battle Born Tactical as soon as reasonably possible and retain the product, packaging, shipping materials, and any relevant documentation.
We may request photographs or other information necessary to work with the distributor, manufacturer, or shipping carrier.
For firearms, do not complete the FFL transfer if the firearm is damaged, incorrect, or otherwise unacceptable upon inspection.
Distributor-Fulfilled Orders
Some products sold by Battle Born Tactical may be shipped directly from an authorized distributor or fulfillment provider.
Returns, cancellations, or exchanges involving distributor-fulfilled products may be subject to that distributor’s applicable return, cancellation, restocking, and shipping requirements.
Battle Born Tactical will work with the customer and distributor to determine the available resolution when appropriate.
Refunds
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method when possible.
Refund processing time may vary depending on the payment processor or financial institution.
Unless required by law or caused by an error for which Battle Born Tactical accepts responsibility, refunds may exclude shipping charges, return shipping, distributor fees, restocking fees, transfer-related expenses, or other non-refundable costs incurred in processing or reversing the transaction.
Non-Returnable Items
Unless otherwise required by law or expressly approved by Battle Born Tactical, the following are generally non-returnable:
- Firearms after completion of the FFL transfer
- Ammunition
- Used, installed, mounted, fired, altered, or damaged products
- Products missing original packaging, accessories, or components
- Special-order products after fulfillment has begun
- Products restricted from return by the manufacturer or distributor
- Clearance or final-sale merchandise when identified as such at the time of purchase
